Forest Hill Kitchen & Ballroom in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, is a new venue on the Cleveland event scene, combining a stunning historic location with the amazing culinary creations of renowned Cleveland chef John Bausone. The ballroom is on the second floor of the Heights Rockefeller Building, which was built by John D. Rockefeller in 1929 as a bank and still features many of the bank's original details like the vault door that is now the entrance to the prep kitchen, high arched ceilings and stained glass windows. What sets this venue apart is the catering. Chef Bausone specializes in locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and menus that are crafted especially for each event -- from the fanciest multi-course French meals to family-style fried chicken.
If we were planning a wedding at Forest Hill Kitchen & Ballroom, we would start with the gown "Central Park" by Lela Rose. With intricate embroidered overlay of filagree and crystal on a subtle trumpet silhouette, this gown has a glamorous, sophisticated feel that is perfect for such a historic venue. With the groom wearing a deep navy tux and a color palette of burgundy and grey, we'd have a classic wedding fit for a Rockefeller!
