Some weddings simply take our breath away. This one is full of so many beautiful details -- from the bride's gorgeous Christos gown to the pink ribbon chandelier at the reception to the most amazing photo backdrop we've ever seen.
From the bride, Amy:
The ultimate goal was to have a reception that was sophisticated but playful – we used “modern whimsical” to describe the look we wanted throughout the planning process. The clean, modern elements and bright colors of Kate Spade were also an inspiration. We used those themes to mix in shades of pink, navy, and gold accents in the space and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with the results! The dress fit my style and the reception perfectly, and the process of picking it out was one of the first of many highlights of the whole process.
Even with the ceremony at the Greek church, we wanted to bring Gregory’s Greek background into the reception with a traditional Greek dance. There were some steps involved, but everyone learned them quickly, joined into one large and winding circle, and had a blast! Seeing the venue for the first time was special too – after all of the planning and imagination with our fantastic planner Katie it was incredible seeing it all together for the first time.
