When you think of the perfect winter wedding, this one should come to mind. From the lanterns lining the aisle to the plethora of twinkle lights and candles providing a warm glow, it's cozy, intimate, and romantic -- everything a winter wedding should be. And to make it even more special, ALL of the decor was done by the bride's mother! She also made the boutonnieres, bouquets, and the bride's hair piece from a combination of silk flowers and fresh evergreens, as well as one of the most gorgeous cakes ever, complete with little mice, birds and snow!
Keeping it "in the family," the groom and his groomsmen are childhood friends. The bride, Alexandra, said their playful attitude was incredible during the speeches -- one of them actually does standup comedy. Her brother, sister, and soon-to-be sister-in-law were her “maids of honor.” Alexandra said, "The event went so perfectly I kept saying 'it was the easiest thing I’ve ever done!'”
